Our Story
Water and Grain was born around a messy kitchen table during a family pizza night. If you live with Celiac, you know that "frustrating" is an understatement. We felt like gluten free products were compromising on texture and flavour and more and more relied on a chemistry lab of fillers and gums just to hold a slice together. We knew there had to be a better way to get that "real" bread pull without sacrificing quality and character.
We wanted simple; Water and Grain.
Our mission is to develop mixes that replicate the structure of gluten using the power of ancient, whole grains. No gums, no junk, just high-quality ingredients that bring flavor back to the gluten-free table. At Water and Grain we believe that just add water shouldn’t mean compromising on taste or texture, it should mean getting back to the joy of crafting and eating your meal.
